Robert (Bodgie) Daniel has taken out the Apprentice of the Year Award at the Numurkah and Disrict Business Awards
His path to this award is inspiring and shows greatly the benefits of Australian Apprenticeships
Robert was a Cheese Maker for 35 years until Kraft had a downturn in it's production at it's Strathmerton Plant.
Robert had to find a new career. When the Numurkah Bakery Owners offered him an Apprenticeship as a Baker, he jumped at teh chance. He was used to working nightshift at Kraft and now does night shift at teh bakery where he has become a relaible part of the team and enjoys learning all the new skills.
